Rebelles
In Pattada, Antonello showed me where his ideas take shape, telling me the story of his workshop and his work. It is the story of a craftsman who had to carve out space for himself in order to become an artist: rebelling against the definition of carpenter, rebelling against the pressure to leave his homeland, and rebelling against the idea that craftsmanship must be a mere replication of what has always been done.
